1. Excellent corrosion resistance. The glass fiber reinforced sand pipe products are made of highly corrosion-resistant resin, which has excellent mechanical properties and processing characteristics, and can be eroded by most untreated acids, alkalis, saltwater sewage, corrosive soil or groundwater, and many chemicals.

4. Small specific gravity and lightweight. The specific gravity of glass fiber reinforced sand pipes produced by fiber winding is 1.65-2.0, only 1/4 of that of steel, but its circumferential tensile strength is 180-300MPa, and axial tensile strength is 60-150MPa, which is close to that of alloy steel. Therefore, its specific strength is 2-3 times that of alloy steel, allowing for the design of various types of pipes to meet the requirements of withstanding internal and external pressure according to user needs.

5. Good mechanical properties and excellent thermal insulation. The tensile strength of the pipe material is lower than that of steel but higher than that of ductile iron pipes and concrete pipes, while its specific strength is about 3 times that of steel pipes, 10 times that of ductile iron pipes, and 25 times that of concrete pipes. In addition, its thermal conductivity is only 1% of that of steel pipes, with excellent insulation performance, making it suitable for power transmission, densely populated telecommunication lines, and lightning-prone areas.

According to laboratory simulation test data, the service life for drainage use can reach over 50 years, which is twice that of steel pipes and concrete pipes.
