1. Before the construction of the fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pipeline, the appearance dimensions should be checked and accepted according to the factory certificate of conformity. 2. The installation drawings of the pipeline serve as the basis for the installation of the pipeline system project. The laying of FRP/PVC pipes (including network connection structure forms, coordinates, elevation, slope, direction, etc.), the connection methods between supports and FRP/PVC pipes, as well as related equipment and pipeline accessories, should comply with the teaching design construction drawings at different installation locations, supports, etc. Any changes must be resolved in consultation with the design unit.
FRP pipeand composite pipe installation
①FRP pipeBefore construction, the appearance dimensions should be checked and accepted according to the factory certificate.
② The installation diagram of the pipeline serves as the basis for the installation of the pipeline system. The layout of FRP/PVC pipes (including network connection structure, coordinates, elevation, slope, direction, etc.), the connection methods between supports and FRP/PVC pipes, as well as related equipment and pipeline accessories, should comply with the teaching design construction drawings. If there are changes, they should be negotiated with the design unit.

③FRP pipeDuring installation, pipeline accessories can be installed sequentially from one end of the pipeline to the other according to the pipeline installation diagram, followed by the installation of supports or brackets (temporary support should be provided if necessary). During the lifting of the pipeline, protective measures should be taken for the outer surface to prevent direct contact with steel cables to avoid local stress.
④ The connection points of the FRP pipes are only allowed in the straight pipe sections. The distance from the welded connection point to the edge of the pipe support should be greater than the outer diameter of the pipe and not less than 100mm, and the distance from the bearing seat to the edge of the pipe support should be greater than 150mm.
⑤FRP pipeThe connection network structure includes three types: socket connection, flange connection (welded ring loose flange connection and composite flat welded flange connection), and butt welding connection. In this project, the installation method will be determined according to the specific requirements of the design documents.
⑥ Workers engaged in welding installation must hold a welding qualification certificate, be familiar with the bonding and installation methods of FRP/PVC pipes, and be proficient in PVC welding operations.
⑦ Before connecting the pipe to the socket, the dirt on the inner wall of the PVC pipe at the connection point should be cleaned, and then the socket plug should be inserted into the socket.
⑧ The joint and socket areas should be reinforced with FRP, and a layer of R glue should be evenly applied to the reinforced area until the required thickness is achieved.
⑨ When the socket and socket installation is unqualified and needs repair, the socket plug and socket should be remade, and used sockets should not be plugged and unplugged.
⑩ When connecting the flange to the pipe, both the inner and outer sides, as well as both sides, should be welded to the pipe. The angle of the flange face to the structural axis of the pipe should be less than or equal to 1/100 of the maximum outer diameter of the pipe. Flange connections should be strictly aligned, with the maximum allowable axial deviation not exceeding 2mm, and the fastening bolts should not be skewed. Bolts should be tightened in two steps: first evenly and symmetrically, then tightened.
FRP pipeFabrication and installation of supports and hangers
① The pipe racks produced on-site should be made strictly according to the specifications and drawings, and painted for protection. The lifting ears of the tie rods and spring hangers should be welded according to the steel structure production standards and undergo 100% penetration or magnetic particle testing.
② All pipe rack locations should be marked on the single line diagram.
③ During the installation of the pipeline, the fixed and adjusted teaching supports should be identified in a timely manner, the working position of the supports should be accurate, the installation should be flat and secure, and the contact with the pipeline should be tight.
④ Fixed supports should be installed according to the requirements of the design documents and fixed before the compensator is pre-stretched.
⑤ The sliding surfaces of guide supports or sliding supports should be clean and flat, without skewing or jamming. The installation position should be offset from the center of the supporting surface in the opposite direction, with the offset being 1/2 of the displacement value or in accordance with the design document requirements, and the insulation layer should not obstruct the displacement.
⑥ Temporary supports used during pipeline installation should not conflict with the positions of official supports and should be clearly marked. They should be removed after the pipeline installation.
