Fiberglass reinforced sand pipes are lightweight, high-strength, have low resistance to liquid transport, good resistance to chemical and electrical corrosion, long service life, and low overall cost. They are also environmentally friendly materials strongly advocated by the state. Additionally, the pipes do not require special anti-corrosion treatment, have a longer length compared to cast iron and cement pipes, and have relatively fewer joints, which reduces installation and maintenance costs. So, what are the storage requirements for fiberglass reinforced sand pipes?

So what are the storage requirements for fiberglass reinforced sand pipes? Let's take a look.
(1)Fiberglass Reinforced Sand PipeUpon arrival at the site, construction should commence immediately at the corresponding work area. If construction cannot be carried out immediately due to irresistible factors, the pipes must be stored safely. The pipes should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods during stacking to prevent UV exposure.
(2) During the lifting process of the pipes, double lifting points should be used, and it is strictly prohibited to thread a rope through both ends; finished lifting straps should be used, and steel wire ropes are not allowed for lifting.
(3)Fiberglass Reinforced Sand PipeThe auxiliary connection materials mainly include fiberglass yarn, chopped mat, fiberglass cloth, and other reinforcing materials, as well as resin, curing agents, accelerators, anti-aging agents, and various types of putty. These materials must be classified and stored properly in a dry place without direct sunlight. Rubber rings should be protected from sunlight and kept away from heat sources, and must not come into contact with grease and organic solvents. Pipes and fittings should be stacked according to type, specification, and grade, with soft padding between layers, kept away from heat sources and flammable or explosive materials, and should not be stored outdoors for long periods to prevent sun exposure.
(4) WhenFiberglass Reinforced Sand Pipestored directly on the ground, the surface should be flat. It is strictly prohibited to store pipes on sharp hard objects, and the stacked pipes should be secured with wooden wedges to prevent rolling.

Each layer of the stack should be placed on sleepers, with a spacing between sleepers of less than 1/2 the length of the pipe. The height of the pipe stack should not exceed 2 meters, and pipes with a diameter of DN1400 or more should not be stacked.
