The theme of this summit is "Gathering the Development Power of the Big Health Industry and Jointly Building a Beautiful Guangxi." The main activities of the summit include the opening ceremony, the 2019 China-ASEAN Traditional Medicine Health Tourism International Forum, the 2019 Guangxi Yabuli Big Health Industry Forum, and the 2019 China (Guangxi) Longevity Industry Development Forum, among others. The schedule is as follows: the opening ceremony will be held in Nanning on the morning of November 8, the Yabuli Big Health Forum and the Longevity Industry Forum will be held simultaneously in Nanning on the afternoon of November 8, and the Bama Forum will take place in Bama Yao Autonomous County, Hechi City on November 9.
The opening ceremony is hosted by: the Central Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; organized by: the United Front Work Department of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Civil Affairs Department, and the Investment Promotion Bureau, with co-organizers including the Secretariat of the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum, the Secretariat of the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, and Guangxi Investment Group Co., Ltd. The opening ceremony will invite relevant leaders and over 800 well-known experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and government officials from the big health field at home and abroad to engage in high-end dialogue and interaction on the development of the big health industry in the new era. Several guests will be arranged to give keynote speeches, and Secretary Lu Xinshe and Chairman Chen Wu will also deliver speeches at the opening ceremony. In addition, a signing session for Guangxi's big health industry projects will be set up during the opening ceremony.
The Yabuli Big Health Forum is hosted by: the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum. The Longevity Industry Forum is hosted by: the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics. The organizing units are: the Secretariat of the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region, and the Health Commission. The Bama Forum is hosted by: the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; organized by: the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Region, the Health Commission, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Bureau, the People's Government of Hechi City, Guangxi Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., and the People's Government of Bama Yao Autonomous County.
The Party Committee and Government of the Autonomous Region attach great importance to the holding of this summit and have specially established a summit organizing committee, with Xu Shaochuan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, serving as the director of the organizing committee. Vice Chairmen Li Bin, Huang Junhua, and Yang Jinbai of the Autonomous Region serve as deputy directors of the organizing committee, and heads of relevant departments (units) serve as members of the organizing committee. The organizing committee has set up an office located in the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region, with me serving as the office director, and the deputy directors being Xiong Chunhan, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Autonomous Region, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Autonomous Region Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Yang Chunting, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau and Director of the Economic and Technological Cooperation Office of the Autonomous Region. At the same time, the organizing committee office has established 8 special working groups responsible for the preparation work of the summit. Currently, all preparatory work is actively and orderly advancing, with good progress.
