Fiberglass reinforced sand pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, hydraulic characteristics, lightweight and high strength, large flow capacity, easy installation, short construction period, and low overall investment, making them a good choice for the chemical industry, drainage projects, and pipeline engineering. However, there are still occasional leakage phenomena in the use of fiberglass reinforced sand pipes. Why is this? 1. The thickness of the fiber-wound sand pipe isolation layer of fiberglass reinforced sand pipes is relatively thin, generally less than 0.5mm. Under mass production conditions, gas cannot be discharged. The very thin impermeable isolation layer of fiberglass reinforced sand pipes makes it difficult to achieve a true impermeable effect.

1. The fiber-wound sand-filled pipe of the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe has a relatively thin isolation layer, generally less than 0.5mm. Under mass production conditions, gases cannot be discharged. The very thin impermeable isolation layer of the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe makes it difficult to achieve a true impermeable effect. Therefore, during the pressure testing process, the pipe wall may show signs of sweating.

2. The wall of the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe is a multi-layer sand core structure. When the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe undergoes circumferential deformation and the pipe wall is bent, it is prone to delamination. The higher the sand content, the greater the tendency for delamination.

3. The quartz sand in the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe falls freely during production, winding between the fiber layers. The sand content in the fiberglass reinforced sand pipe is uneven, leading to a loose pipe wall that is prone to delamination.

4. The fiberglass reinforced sand pipe is installed outdoors. The fiberglass reinforced sand pipe is exposed to ultraviolet rays for a long time. The surface of the pipe becomes rough, discolored, and peels.

Therefore, selecting fiberglass reinforced sand pipes with good quality and production processes can effectively reduce the occurrence of leaks. Guangxi Fiberglass Products Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer engaged in the production and research and development of various fiberglass pipes. Our products are well received by users, and all design, production, and inspection processes strictly adhere to the corresponding national standards. We welcome inquiries.
